Meet Elmira Zarabi, RDCS, founder of PrimaVue Diagnostic Imaging in Beverly Hills and EZ Diagnostic Imaging Services, and the story behind her mission.
Elmira Zarabi, RDCS — Founder & CEO of PrimaVue Diagnostic Imaging and EZ Diagnostic Imaging Services
For Elmira Zarabi, RDCS, diagnostic imaging has never been simply a profession. Her journey as a cardiovascular sonographer, educator, and entrepreneur in the Los Angeles area has been shaped by personal experiences and by recognizing gaps in healthcare that she felt passionate about addressing.
How a Family Experience Inspired Mobile Ultrasound
Zarabi’s inspiration for EZ Diagnostic Imaging Services (https://ezdiagnostic.com/) began with her father. During his illness, she experienced firsthand how difficult it could be to transport a sick loved one to an imaging facility for an ultrasound examination. That experience made the need for accessible mobile diagnostic services deeply personal. She wanted to bring ultrasound directly to patients in their homes, healthcare facilities, and physicians’ offices, making the process easier for patients and their families.
There was another important inspiration behind EZ Diagnostic Imaging: her students.
As an ultrasound educator, Zarabi is passionate about teaching and mentoring future sonographers. Over the years, she saw talented graduates searching for opportunities to build their careers while, at the same time, physicians and healthcare facilities struggled to find reliable and well-trained ultrasound technicians. She realized she could become a bridge between the two. Through EZ Diagnostic Imaging Services, she could support physicians with dependable mobile ultrasound services while creating opportunities for skilled sonographers, including graduates she had helped educate and mentor.
Bringing ABUS to Women in Beverly Hills
Her passion for improving access to imaging eventually led her to another area of healthcare that was deeply important to her: women’s breast health.
Through conversations with friends and women in her community, Zarabi noticed how much uncertainty and anxiety surrounded mammography, dense breast tissue, and the possibility of something being missed. Many women did not fully understand what it meant to have dense breasts or what additional screening options might be available to them.
That awareness inspired the creation of PrimaVue Diagnostic Imaging (https://primavuediagnostic.
For Zarabi, bringing ABUS to her community was about more than introducing technology. It was about giving women greater awareness of their breast health and helping them feel more informed and empowered when discussing screening options with their physicians.
Two Businesses, One Mission
Her two businesses reflect different sides of the same mission. EZ Diagnostic Imaging Services focuses on accessibility—bringing diagnostic ultrasound directly to patients and healthcare providers. PrimaVue Diagnostic Imaging focuses on preventive women’s health, education, and advanced breast imaging.
At the center of both is Zarabi’s belief that healthcare should combine compassion, education, accessibility, and innovation.
From caring for her father, to educating future sonographers, to supporting physicians and helping women better understand their breast health, Zarabi has transformed personal experiences into businesses designed to address real needs in her community.
