Upper Extremity Arterial Ultrasound (UEA)

Doppler ultrasound of the arm arteries to evaluate circulation and possible blockages.

$350.00

An upper extremity arterial ultrasound uses Doppler to evaluate blood flow in the arteries of the arms. It may be ordered for arm pain, coldness, numbness or a difference in blood pressure between arms.

No special preparation is needed. Wear a short-sleeved or loose top. The exam usually takes about 30 to 60 minutes.

This exam is performed by an ARDMS-registered sonographer at our Beverly Hills office, and is also available through our EZ Diagnostic mobile ultrasound service at your home, clinic or care facility. Images are interpreted by a board-certified physician, and results are sent to your referring healthcare provider. Please bring your physician’s order and a photo ID to your appointment. Questions?
