Breast Ultrasound Unilateral

Targeted ultrasound of one breast to evaluate a lump, pain or a finding from another exam.

$175.00

A unilateral breast ultrasound looks closely at one breast, usually to check a specific area of concern such as a lump, breast pain, nipple discharge or a finding seen on a mammogram or ABUS exam. Ultrasound can help tell whether an area is a fluid-filled cyst or a solid mass.

No preparation is needed. The exam is painless, uses no radiation, and usually takes about 20 to 30 minutes.

This exam is performed by an ARDMS-registered sonographer at our Beverly Hills office, and is also available through our EZ Diagnostic mobile ultrasound service at your home, clinic or care facility. Images are interpreted by a board-certified physician, and results are sent to your referring healthcare provider. Please bring your physician’s order and a photo ID to your appointment. Questions?
