A small parts ultrasound examines structures close to the skin’s surface, such as a lump or swelling under the skin, lymph nodes, salivary glands or soft-tissue masses. It helps your doctor see the size, shape and makeup of an area of concern.
No preparation is needed. The exam is painless, uses no radiation, and usually takes about 20 to 30 minutes.
This exam is performed by an ARDMS-registered sonographer at our Beverly Hills office, and is also available through our EZ Diagnostic mobile ultrasound service at your home, clinic or care facility. Images are interpreted by a board-certified physician, and results are sent to your referring healthcare provider. Please bring your physician’s order and a photo ID to your appointment. Questions?
