A scrotal ultrasound produces images of the testicles and surrounding structures. It is commonly used to evaluate pain, swelling, a lump, or fluid around the testicle, and to check blood flow.
No preparation is needed. The exam is painless, uses no radiation, and usually takes about 20 to 30 minutes. Our team will make every effort to keep you comfortable and your privacy protected.
This exam is performed by an ARDMS-registered sonographer at our Beverly Hills office, and is also available through our EZ Diagnostic mobile ultrasound service at your home, clinic or care facility. Images are interpreted by a board-certified physician, and results are sent to your referring healthcare provider. Please bring your physician’s order and a photo ID to your appointment. Questions?
