Thyroid Ultrasound

Ultrasound of the thyroid gland to evaluate nodules, enlargement or abnormal thyroid blood tests.

$250.00

A thyroid ultrasound creates detailed images of the thyroid gland in the front of the neck. Doctors order it to evaluate thyroid nodules, an enlarged thyroid (goiter), swelling in the neck or abnormal thyroid blood tests, and to monitor known nodules over time.

No preparation is needed. Wear a top that leaves your neck uncovered. The exam is painless and usually takes about 20 to 30 minutes.

This exam is performed by an ARDMS-registered sonographer at our Beverly Hills office, and is also available through our EZ Diagnostic mobile ultrasound service at your home, clinic or care facility. Images are interpreted by a board-certified physician, and results are sent to your referring healthcare provider. Please bring your physician’s order and a photo ID to your appointment. Questions?
